XIT Service Privacy Policy — Proactive IT Management and Monitoring. Last updated: June 2026. At XIT, we respect your privacy and are committed to full transparency regarding the information we collect. The service is based solely on collecting technical system logs and analyzing them server-side. We do not view your computer, we do not take control of it, and we do not access your files, documents, or personal content. This policy explains what technical data is collected, how it is processed, and how we protect it. Use of the service constitutes acceptance of the terms set out in this document.
1. General. XIT provides proactive monitoring, diagnostics, and maintenance for computers, based on collecting technical system logs and analyzing them server-side. The service does not include screen viewing, remote control, or access to content stored on the computer. We are exposed only to technical data about the health and performance of the system, and not to your personal content. This policy applies to all service customers — businesses, freelancers, and private customers — and to all means of contact with us, including the website, the online forms, and the collection of logs from the computers.
2. The information we collect. 2.1 Information you provide to us directly. Contact details: name, phone, email address, and business name (if relevant). Details required to schedule and perform the service, such as the type of computer and operating system.
2.2 Technical logs collected from the system. The service collects technical system logs only, which document the state and operation of the computer. The logs are sent to and analyzed server-side. The data includes: Hardware characteristics: processor, memory, hard drive, battery, and the general condition of the components. Performance data: loads, temperatures, available storage space, and response speed. Software status: operating system version, installed updates, and basic security settings. System events, errors, and early indications of hardware or software failure.
2.3 No personally identifiable information (PII). The service does not collect personally identifiable information (PII). We collect only technical logs about the system's health. We do not access, view, copy, or read personal files, documents, photos, messages, or any private content stored on the computer. Log analysis is performed server-side and focuses on technical data only.
3. How logs are collected and processed. The technical logs are collected from the computer and transferred for processing and analysis server-side. In this regard, we undertake the following: Collection is performed with your knowledge and consent, and is limited to technical system logs only. The service does not include screen viewing, remote control, or interactive access to the computer. We do not access your files or personal content at any stage. The analysis is performed server-side on technical data only, for the purpose of producing the recommendations and the report.
4. Purposes of using the information. We use the information solely for the following purposes: Analyzing the logs, diagnostics, and producing computer maintenance recommendations. Producing the periodic report and providing tailored recommendations. Tracking trends and changes in the computer's condition over time. Contacting you regarding the service, reports, or urgent issues. Improving the quality of the service we provide. We do not sell, rent, or trade in your information, and we will not transfer it to third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data storage and security. The information is stored by secure means, with access restricted to authorized personnel only. We take reasonable and accepted security measures to protect against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Report data is retained for the purpose of historical tracking and comparing trends between checks. The information is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service and in accordance with the requirements of the law. It should be clarified that, despite our efforts, no system is completely immune. We work to protect the information to a high standard, but absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
6. Disclosure of information to third parties. We will not transfer your information to any external party, except in the following cases: When it is required for the purpose of providing the service (for example, a hardware supplier for the purpose of replacing a component) — and with your approval.
